i owned a 98 S70 T5 and there are a couple of things i’d look out for:

make sure all of the window switches and door locks work. the switch panel in the driver’s door breaks. it’s not difficult to replace with a chinese knock off, but when you find out the lock actuators are also bad, those are expensive to replace or a…

The TR7 first came out as a coupe only, it was a modern sports car after years of archaic roadsters from England, performance adequate for the day, not much different than the contemporary Porsche 924 and RX7, and a comfortable if not fancy cockpit. The G8, Vibe, and Solstice are the only end-stage Pontiacs that weren’t hilariously outclassed by the competition. That said, this isn’t a crazy price if the transmission checks out, and I do miss regular commuter cars being offered as 2 doors just for the hell of it. Nice price by a razor’s edge.
