There are a ton of ways to make automotive content on the internet. Some people sit behind a desk and write about cars, some make tutorial videos about to work on cars and some make chaotic, weirdly funny over-the-top videos that try to make car culture as broadly appealing as possible.

These trucks are some of the most hateable vehicles on the road today, but I’m ready to level with you all: this video made me kind of love them. I mean I still hate them, but I get why the owners do it, and I appreciate all the work that goes into them.
Sure, building a cross-plane V8 sounds rad, and getting it to run should be nice and easy, but, uh, it isn’t. This video is kind of brutal in how much help they call in and how many times they kind of poop the bed, but sometimes that’s just how life is.
